Welcome to the Autumn issue. We have settled into our new office and we are very fortunate to now have two rooms and therefore the Helpline operates in a separate room enabling us to talk to people in total confidentiality. Our resources are slowly increasing and we have 3 volunteers who each work for 2 hours a week doing an excellent job of filing and photocopying. However, we are still asking if 2 members would like to do 2 hours a week during the morning operating the Helpline. Full training will be given. Call Denny for further details. May we be the first
to wish you a peaceful Christmas and Happy New
Year.

Pause For ThoughtIf If you think you are beaten, you are If you think you
If you'd like to win, but think you can't, it's almost certain you won't If you think you'll lose, you've lost For out of the world
we find If you think you're outclassed, you are You've got to think high to rise You've got to be
sure of yourself before Life's battles don't
always go But sooner or later the person who wins IS THE ONE WHO THINKS
THEY CAN.

KIDZ CORNERMEMORY GAMES
How many things can you think of beginning with 'S'? Change the letter each week. Name all the things you can pack in your school bag. Name all the things you can think of that you can buy at the Chemist? Grocers? Sweet shop? Name as many animals as you can with .. Spots? Fur? Tails? Name all the things you can find in a kitchen.
You say a sequence-they repeat it. See how many they can remember then change places and you try. 17 Keep going until they get it wrong. Now get them to repeat it backwards! 17
